Terms of Use

Last updated July 28, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Mirror website, web application, and mobile applications (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

What Mirror is

Mirror is an AI-guided reflection experience inspired by Jesus’ questions and teachings. Mirror is not Jesus, divine revelation, therapy, medical or mental-health care, crisis support, professional spiritual direction, or advice. The Service may produce incomplete, inaccurate, or unexpected responses. You remain responsible for your own decisions and actions.

Urgent situations

Do not use Mirror for emergencies or situations requiring immediate professional help. If you believe you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these terms where you live. You are responsible for safeguarding access to your device, email, and Mirror installation. You may not sell, transfer, or share paid access in a way that circumvents the Service’s account controls.

Free and paid access

Mirror includes one complete free reflection. Additional access may be offered as a monthly subscription, annual subscription, or lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown before purchase. Subscription plans renew automatically until canceled through the provider that processed the purchase.

Purchases made through Apple or Google are also subject to that storefront’s terms, billing rules, and refund process. Web purchases are processed by Stripe. Except where required by law or the applicable storefront’s rules, charges are non-refundable. A “lifetime” purchase means access for the supported commercial life of the Service, not the lifetime of any person.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use the Service unlawfully or to harm another person;
  • interfere with, probe, reverse engineer, or bypass the Service’s security, access, usage, or payment controls;
  • use automated means to scrape, overload, or extract content or data from the Service;
  • submit content you do not have the right to use or that violates another person’s rights.

Your content

You retain your rights in the content you submit. You grant Mirror a limited license to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and operate the Service. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Mirror’s materials

The Service, its design, software, text, branding, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Mirror and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, plans, or the Service. We may limit or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, the Service, or legal compliance. We do not promise that the Service will always be available or error-free.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from a course of dealing or usage of trade.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mirror and its owners, affiliates, service providers, and personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the claim or 100 U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service changes. We will post the revised terms here and change the “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the Service after updated terms take effect means you accept them.
